A Hero’s Home

Home is where his heart is,
A castle against the flow.
The bastion of hope is his,
With room for him to grow.

Home is where his mind stills,
Standing in the light.
A place to hone his epic skills,
And even a chance of flight.

Home is where his hair falls,
Loosened whilst he chills.
Prepped and ready to raid the halls,
To chase the next big thrills.

Home is where his love waits,
Patient, faithful and true.
No evil shall pass through the gates,
A strength his enemies rue.

Great poem. Really enjoyed the emotional connections with ‘home’.
