This Man is an Island.

Up against it all,
contra to the flow.
One man among the sprawl,
no room for him to grow.

No odds in his favour,
none to guide his hand.
Never shall he waver,
all troubles he’ll withstand.

One man, his own island,
casting doubt on the adage.
At home in the highlands,
no stranger to damage.

Standing triumphant,
head stretched up high.
Loud sound the trumpets,
They think he can fly.
