So yeah after an absence of real life blocking my virtual one here is a quick poem to get things rolling again, and me back into the swing of things šŸ˜›

“Help, we’re melting!”
The iced juices squeak.
Insides congealing,
A puddle of stick.

“Help, I’m burning!”
The lilies abhor.
A flamethrower’s gaze,
The Sun of Yore.

“When will it end?”
The peasants exclaim.
Feet locked to the ground,
Damn Spell of Flames.

“Who will save me?”
The apprentice croaks.
Magics failing him,
felling great oaks.

“Here he comes!”
The Master arrives,
Eyes flick about,
Fists full o’knives

“Sun of Yore,
Hear my cry.
Cease this heat
Lest we fry!”

Awesome. It flows so nicely and has such great humor to it. Welcome back.
